Richmond Massage and Spa

Was greeted by the receptionist who was very nice initially but the standard of massage was incredibly below par, she spent 20 minutes on my back lightly rubbing oil around with no pressure whatsoever and then with same technique spent about 5 minutes on my leg. She then flipped me over and I realised why the massage was so sub par, she was massaging with one hand and watching videos on her phone with the other for the entirety of the massage. She spent the final 20 minutes of the massage scratching my scalp and pulling at my hair. Scratching someone’s hair with one hand and watching videos with the other is not what you expect for a $90 massage. Would not recommend

Today I was really in need of a good shoulder massage and because I was going to be in the Richmond area I thought I would get a good massage so I searched and came across reviews for your spa. However I have left your spa more sore than when I got there and very dissatisfied. I walked kn a was greeted by Hannah. I asked her if she accepts walk in clients or do I need to book an appointment. She proceeded to give me a business card and asked me to "phone boss". I could tell English was not her first language so I asked simply are you able to give me a massage now. She asked how long I said half an hour is fine. She proceeded to scream to her colleague and rambled on and eventually she said okay only 30 minutes. Please pay. You pay by card or cash. I was happy that I could have been fit in. However it's the worse way to spend $50. For the first 8 to 10 minutes of my massage she massaged me with 1 hand, while on her phone with the other. I can understand if she was doing bookings etc. However she had no clue as to what she was doing. She proceeded to try to massage my shoulders but in all my life, I have never had someone massage my shoulders in that way. It was as though she was washing clothes by hand. She answered a phone call while massaging me. So my 30 minutes of massaging with all the phone messages and calls was not actually 30 minutes. I have been to many massages, both here in Australia and overseas. But this was not what I expected especially when the reviews are so high. I do understand a language barrier however this experience has been very unprofessional. And I won't be returning.
